- Sit
- Legs straight, lifted to 45 degrees
- Point feet
- Lift torso to 45 degrees
- Lift arms to beside ears
- Should feel abdominals firing
Cues 💡
- Lower legs down as much as possible without arching lower (lumbar) spine
- Draw abdomen in
- Should feel abdominals firing
- Curl tailbone to initiate bringing legs back up
- Watch tendency to gradually lower torso down. Maintain height of torso.
- Watch tendency to lift legs less high with each repetition
Breathing 🫁
- Inhale (nose) to lower legs
- Exhale (mouth) to raise legs
