Start Position 🏁

  • Sit
  • Legs straight, lifted to 45 degrees
  • Point feet
  • Lift torso to 45 degrees
  • Lift arms to beside ears
  • Should feel abdominals firing

Cues 💡

  • Lower legs down as much as possible without arching lower (lumbar) spine
  • Draw abdomen in
  • Should feel abdominals firing
  • Curl tailbone to initiate bringing legs back up
  • Watch tendency to gradually lower torso down. Maintain height of torso.
  • Watch tendency to lift legs less high with each repetition

Breathing 🫁

  • Inhale (nose) to lower legs
  • Exhale (mouth) to raise legs
